Wow!

Its amazing watching a child grow. Courtney is amazing me everyday. It could either be by something she does, or one of her witty comments. it blows me away. She is so silly. She can make me laugh in no time.

Last night, we took her toddler bed apart and put the railings on the twin bed. Her cousin is borrowing her toddler bed so they dont have to worry about buying one for her. Courtney was so excited to get the railings on her "Big Big Girl Bed" that she was bouncing all over the place. She came running out into the living room while Larry was attachign the railings. She had found a puzzle peice to her dora puzzle that was missing a few peices and she was putting it together. Out of no-where..she starts signing..."Oooh Ee Ohh Ah Ah, Ting Tang, Walla Walla Bing Bang." OMG I was rolling. What a crazy child. She sings so much. Its hilarious.

She was really excited when we went to K-Mart last week. I just happend to be walking past the bedding, and right on an end cap of an asile, was a TWIN size My Little Pony Bed Set. SOO CUTE! She was happy! So now we can keep with the MLP theme with her big bed. So yesterday, I put her MLP wall decals up. She loves them. She had to instantly show daddy when he got home. Then she drug Branden to her room as well.

When it came to be bed time, she was excited to sleep in her big, big girl bed. We took her in
there, took a few pictures of her laying in her big bed, tucked her in, kissed her and told her goodnight and that we loved her. And we left the room. I turned on the baby monitor so I could listen for her in my room (upstairs). But she came out a few minutes later whining because she was scared of the little red light that lets you know the monitor is turned on. So I asked her if she would sleep in there if we covered that light up. And she said yes. So I got some black electrical tape and covered the light. In about 1 minute she was BACK out in the living room asking to sleep upstairs. And I told her she has to sleep in her big bed, but she snuck upstairs with Larry when he went up to bed. Cheeky little girl she is. We will try again tonight. Eventually she will get the hint that she has to sleep in her room. But until then, she has her bed upstairs as well. I will be taking that apart shortly though so she will have no choice but to sleep in her room. Hopefully she WILL sleep LOL.
