Amazing Girl

This girl amazes me everyday. I cannot help but laugh at her.

When she is "naughty" and you are trying to scold her for doing something she shouldn't have done, she will make faces at you. How can you not laugh? Its hard not to. It makes disciplining very difficult.

When she potty's on the potty chair...and she does a #2. She HAS to show it to you!!! "Mama I pood I pood Tome see Tome See!!!" And if you do NOT get up...she will come to you grab your hand and insist. You dont really have the choice to go! She will MAKE you.

Her birthday is fast approcing. Im totally NOT looking forward to it. All you hear about all day is "Dora Birthday". She is begging for a Dora birthday which I intend to give her, but Im really tired of hearing DORA DORA DORA lol.

Right now she is curled up on the couch with her giant bed time bear unde her bed time bear blankie watching tv. Waiting paitently for Elmo (sesame street) to come on. Its a chilly September day in Wisconsin. Its not all fun. I HATE waking up freezing. Its almost time to put the heater on.

Build-A-Bear Anyone?

Yesterday we took Courtney to build-a-bear. I regret not bringing the camera with because she had such a great time.

I was having her pick out her bear and she saw this white cat that she wanted. It was really cute. Looked just like Marie from Aristacats. As we where standing in line waiting to get the cat stuffed I asked Larry to grab me the Orange bear that was sitting on the shelf. Courtney INSTANTLY wanted that one. She is Orange and has candy corns printed all over her and has a candy corn nose. SO CUTE. Its a halloween edition bear.

She helped the lady stuff the bear...then she had to put a heart inside the bear. She had to rub it to make it warm, pat it to give it a heart beat, kiss it for love, rub it on her nose for lotsa giggles and happiness, then she had to squeeze really tight and make a wish. Then she had to put it in the bear. SO CUTE.

I originally was just going to get ONLY the bear...but she saw the clothes and wanted her bear to have clothes. How fitting that she picked out a ballarina costume. So now her halloween bear is dressed up to go out. :) We made a birth certificate for the bear too...she is in love with this thing. She totes it all over the house.I named her bear dreamcicle cause thats what I think of when I see it. Its so cute!!!!

Oh and YES that is a peice of pizza that the bear is holding. The bear got a free slice of pizza LOL

My Friend Julianna!!

Julianna Banana!
Thats what she is known as to the world. She is the prettiest little girl *Outsida me....my momma says so*

My momma found this little sweetie when she met Angel Allie Scott. Julianna is a cute lil kindergartner with lotsa spunk. The thing you may not see...is Julianna has sick blood. cancer! No one likes that disease. But Julianna is just a doll and is full of life.

We all wear pink wish bracelets to honor Julianna and her fight. *You can see my mommy's picture on there with girls she works with* My picture is not on there yet because I like to play with my bracelet and will not hold still long enough with it on for mommy to snap a picture. Silly Me!

My mommy got lucky and got to meet her Auntie Tammy...Julianna's picture is now proudly displayed on our computer desk.

We hope you feel better soon so you can go play again. Hope you are still having lotsa fun at school too. Only a few more years and I will be able to go to school as well. I get sad when my very own brother has to leave me. There are days I want to go with him. Keep your chin up punkin...we are all cheering for you! :)

Just Like Mine Mama

Courtney is sucha goof!

Today the mail lady dropped off a box. For Momma of course and Courtney ran onto the proch to grab it.

She gave it to me and then asked Whats In It Mama!? Whats In It? I told her I did not know as it came from a friend online. I opened it up and I said Look Courtney...its a purse. A PURSE MAMA? Then she ran off! *confused I was*. I start inspecting my new pink purse thanks to a wonderful online friend...then she comes running back JUST LIKE MINE MAMA? Is it Just Like Mine? I look and she ran and got her *pink* my little pony purse.

Yes Courtney Just like yours!! *They are both pink*. She has not let the purse go since then!!! Goofy Girl!

She has this thing with "hitting" Not that she runs around the house hitting. But Maggie our dog chewed up a 1/4 roll of toilet paper. I grabbed the rest of it and smacked her on the nose with it and told her she was bad and not to chew it blah blah balh.

All I hear from Courtney is NO MAMA! Dont Hit Her!!! Im a bit perplexed as I never Hit my dog. Whenever her father and I wrestle or smack each other in play...she gets really angry. If her brother is being punished...she crys. Its really odd. She has never seen anyone get "beat" so I have no idea where this is coming from. We dont hit the kids so Im not sure if maybe she its catching things from the tv or what. Its cute though that she is being so "protective"

Courtney will be 3 in 1.5 months *SOB* Please make my baby stop growing!!! K? Thanks!

An Introduction to Courtney

Welcome to My Blog. This will be soley for my daughter and her daily life.

Courtney Jo is 2 years old. She was born November 12, 2002 at 9:19pm via c-section. She weighed in at 6lbs 15.5oz and 21.5 inches long. She had a thin layer of strawberry blond hair and blue eyes.

She is the light of my life and the joy of those around her. She is beautiful.

At the age of 2.5 Years old..Courtney can say her ABC's, Identify the letters, knows colors and shapes, animal sounds, can count to 20, can count to 10 in spanish (thanks Dora), and can sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Old MacDonald Had A Farm. Im sure there are a few others, but as I type this..this is all I can think of. And she is fully potty trained. No Diapers or Pull-Ups EVER!

Courtney LOVES to pose for the camera. She will do pretty much anything to get you to take a picture of her. Including being silly. Her photo's get entered into various online photo contests and she pretty much ALWAYS wins Best Personality in all of them! I have a ham on my hands and a little Diva in the making. Im told I will have problems when I get older cause she is gonna be a looker. I told Daddy he better get his stick ready...cause Im sure he will have to whack the guys off. *JOY*

Courtney has an older brother. Branden is 8 years old and from a previous relationship daddy had. She loves him to BITS and hates when he leaves for school or goes to spend the night at his moms house.

Courtney's interests are coloring, singing, dancing, watching Dora, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Blues Clues, or Bear in the Big Blue House. She begs for a Dora Birthday party daily. And she can sing all the songs from the Dora shows. *Imagine hearing, "Backpack, Backpack! Backpack, Backpack! Im the backpack loaded up with things and nic nacks to...anything that you might need I got inside for you! Backpack, Backpack! Backpack, Backpack!" all day long!!!* Courtney also makes up her own songs as well. Her favorite is "Me and My Daddy, Me and My Daddy, Me and My Daddy Play!" Very Cute!!!

I will post here about Courtney. I want to have something to document her as she grows to show her when she gets old.

I gave the journal name lipgloss_dreamz because its fitting for a little girl. All little girls love lipgloss and they are full of dreams!
